Fried Green Tomat…
Ingredients
  • 4 green tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Steps
  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  2. Dip the tomato slices in the egg mixture then dredge in the flour mixture.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Fry tomatoes for 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  4. Place on paper towels to drain.
  5. Serve warm or cold.
