Fried Dumplings
Ingredients
  • 1 package dumpling wrappers
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

Steps
  1. Combine the pork, green onions, garlic, ginger root, soy sauce and sesame oil in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Place 1 teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper and fold in half.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan and heat until shimmering.
  4. Add the dumplings to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2 minutes per side.
  5. Serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice.
