Fried Dill Pickle…
Ingredients
  • 1 quart dill pickles, sliced into 1/4 inch slices
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Steps
  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
  2. In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. In a third shallow bowl, add the panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each pickle slice in the flour mixture. Shake off any excess flour.
  5. Dip each pickle slice in the egg mixture. Let any excess egg drip off.
  6. Dip each pickle slice in the panko breadcrumbs. Make sure all sides are coated with breadcrumbs.
  7. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the pickles until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with creamy horseradish dip.
