French Onion Dip
Ingredients
  • 2 large onions, diced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until softened and lightly browned, about 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Slowly add the beef broth, stirring constantly until thickened.
  4. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  5. Simmer for 10 minutes. Serve warm or chilled.
