English Muffins
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Add in the milk and melted butter and stir until just combined.
  3. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth.
  4. Divide dough into eight equal portions and shape each into a round ball.
  5. Place muffins on a greased baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.
