Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2¼ teaspoons instant or active dry yeast
  • 1¼ cups warm water (110°F)

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add the warm water and mix until well combined.
  3. Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until it's smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough and shape into a loaf. Place into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  6. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool before slicing. Enjoy!
