- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2¼ teaspoons instant or active dry yeast
- 1¼ cups warm water (110°F)
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add the warm water and mix until well combined.
- Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until it's smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and shape into a loaf. Place into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool before slicing. Enjoy!
