- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 1/2 cups flaked coconut
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Stir in sugars and condensed milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture starts to boil.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in coconut.
- Pour into a greased 8x8 inch pan.
- Cool before cutting into squares.
