- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Melt butter in a large ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Add onion, and cook until tender. Stir in rice, and cook for 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth and salt; bring to a boil. Cover skillet, and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven, and fluff with a fork before serving.
