Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Melt butter in a large ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Add onion, and cook until tender. Stir in rice, and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add chicken broth and salt; bring to a boil. Cover skillet, and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven, and fluff with a fork before serving.
