- 1 block extra firm tofu
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Cut the tofu into 1/2-inch cubes.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
- Dredge the tofu cubes in the flour mixture until they are evenly coated.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the coated tofu to the skillet and fry for about 5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from heat and serve warm.
