Crispy Fried Tofu
Ingredients
  • 1 block extra firm tofu
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Steps
  1. Cut the tofu into 1/2-inch cubes.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge the tofu cubes in the flour mixture until they are evenly coated.
  4. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the coated tofu to the skillet and fry for about 5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from heat and serve warm.
