Crispy Fish Tacos
Ingredients
  • 1 lb. white fish fillets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 8 small flour tortillas

Steps
  1. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
  2. Dredge the fish in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the fish to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 3 minutes per side.
  5. Remove from the heat and break into pieces with a fork.
  6. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds per side.
  7. To assemble tacos: Place some of the fish onto each tortilla. Top with desired toppings.
