Ingredients
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 cup beer or club soda

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the onion into 1/2-inch thick slices and separate into rings.
  3. In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the beer or club soda into another shallow bowl.
  5. Dip each onion ring into the beer or club soda, then dredge in the flour mixture until evenly coated.
  6. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Flip each ring over and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
