Creamy Onion Gravy
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps
  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the flour and stir until lightly browned.
  3. Add the onion and garlic and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
