Ingredients
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or half-and-half

Steps
  1. Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. Add the garlic to the same pan and cook for 1 minute. Add the mushrooms and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in the cream or half-and-half and simmer until thickened. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and spoon some of the sauce over it.
  4. Serve with your favorite side dish.
