- 1 pound pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 pound sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- salt and pepper to taste
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute garlic and mushrooms for 5 minutes.
- Stir in wine, and cook for 3 minutes. Pour in cream, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Toss cooked pasta with mushroom sauce, and serve.
