Creamy Baked Maca…
Ingredients
  • 1 lb. elbow macaroni
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 4 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.
  3. Add the macaroni and cook according to package instructions.
  4. Drain and set aside.
  5. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  7. Slowly whisk in the milk, whisking continuously until thickened.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in the cheese, salt, and pepper until melted.
  9. Combine the macaroni with the cheese sauce in a large bowl and pour into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  10. Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
