- 6 strips bacon, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 cups corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside.
- Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the flour and stir to combine.
- Add the corn kernels, cream, salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until thickened.
- Stir in the cooked bacon.
- Serve warm.
