Ingredients
  • 6 strips bacon, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Steps
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside.
  2. Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the flour and stir to combine.
  3. Add the corn kernels, cream, salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until thickened.
  5. Stir in the cooked bacon.
  6. Serve warm.
