Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 (14.75 ounce) cans creamed corn
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Stir in flour, salt and pepper; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually stir in milk; bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in creamed corn and cream cheese until melted.
  6. Pour mixture into a greased 2 quart baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
