- 1 cup butter, softened
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy.
- Add sugar and beat until well blended.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder; gradually add to creamed mixture.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
