Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy.
  3. Add sugar and beat until well blended.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder; gradually add to creamed mixture.
  6. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
