- 3 cups cranberries
- 3 apples, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the cranberries, apples, sugar and water.
- Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low.
- Simmer for 15 minutes or until the cranberries burst and the apples are soft.
- Mash with a potato masher or blend until desired consistency is reached.
- Serve warm or cold.
