Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar.
  3. Add eggs and oil and mix until blended.
  4. Add buttermilk and mix until blended.
  5. Pour batter into a greased 9-inch round cake pan.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool before serving.
