- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar.
- Add eggs and oil and mix until blended.
- Add buttermilk and mix until blended.
- Pour batter into a greased 9-inch round cake pan.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
