Cornbread Stuffing
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 stalks celery, diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 3 cups crumbled cornbread
  • 2 cups chicken broth or stock
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and celery; sauté until tender.
  3. Stir in sage and thyme; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add cornbread and chicken broth; mix well.
  5. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
