Cornbread Dressin…
Ingredients
  • 1 (9x13-inch) pan of cornbread, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 pound pork sausage, cooked and drained
  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
  3. Add onion and celery; cook until tender.
  4. Mix in crumbled cornbread, sausage, apples, chicken broth and poultry seasoning.
  5. Season with salt and pepper; mix well.
  6. Pour into a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven or until golden brown.
