- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat butter and both sugars with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and eggs until combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and beat on low speed until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8–10 minutes or until golden brown.
