- 1/2 lb. Chinese egg noodles
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar or white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili paste or hot sauce (optional)
- Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add the noodles and cook according to package instructions.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and chili paste (if using).
- Drain the noodles and rinse with cold water.
- Toss the noodles with the sauce.
- Serve cold or at room temperature.
