Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb. Chinese egg noodles
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar or white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste or hot sauce (optional)

Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add the noodles and cook according to package instructions.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and chili paste (if using).
  3. Drain the noodles and rinse with cold water.
  4. Toss the noodles with the sauce.
  5. Serve cold or at room temperature.
