- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 cups coconut milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- In a medium saucepan, combine the rice, sugar, salt and coconut milk.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 25 minutes or until the rice is tender.
- Stir in butter and let cool slightly before serving.
