Coconut Macaroons
Ingredients
  • 3 cups shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the coconut, sugar, flour, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites and vanilla together until soft peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the egg whites into the coconut mixture until fully combined.
  5. Drop heaping tablespoons of the mixture onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool before serving.
