Coconut Chutney
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated coconut
  • 1 teaspoon urad dal
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons tamarind paste
  • Salt to taste

Steps
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add urad dal and mustard seeds. Fry until the mustard seeds splutter.
  3. Add the chopped green chilies and fry for a few seconds.
  4. Add the grated coconut and fry until it turns golden brown.
  5. Add the tamarind paste and salt to taste. Mix well.
  6. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
