Clam Fritters
Ingredients
  • 1 can minced clams, drained
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk

Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the clams, flour, baking powder, salt and pepper.
  2. Stir in the parsley, butter and milk until well blended.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
