- 1 can minced clams, drained
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- In a medium bowl, mix together the clams, flour, baking powder, salt and pepper.
- Stir in the parsley, butter and milk until well blended.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
