- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup slivered almonds or chopped nuts of your choice
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the honey, oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Add the oats and nuts to the bowl and mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Spread the granola mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
- Store in an airtight container.
