Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup slivered almonds or chopped nuts of your choice

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the honey, oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  3. Add the oats and nuts to the bowl and mix until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Spread the granola mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
  7. Store in an airtight container.
