Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm milk (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Steps
  1. In a small bowl, combine butter, sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, yeast and salt. Add warm milk and eggs; mix well.
  3. Stir in remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead for about 5 minutes on a lightly floured surface, or until smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Roll dough into a 15x10 inch rectangle. Spread with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Roll up jelly-roll style starting from the long side. Pinch seams together to seal.
  7. Cut into 12 rolls and place cut side down in a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
  8. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled in bulk, about 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 20 minutes.
