- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lime juice, olive oil, cumin and salt. Blend until smooth.
- Transfer the hummus to a bowl and stir in the chopped cilantro.
- Serve with pita chips or fresh vegetables.
