Churros
Ingredients
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • vegetable oil for frying

Steps
  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the water, sugar, salt and 2 tablespoons of oil to a boil.
  2. Stir in the flour until mixture forms a ball.
  3. Heat oil for frying in a deep-fryer or deep skillet to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  4. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls into hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  5. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar while still warm.
