- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- vegetable oil for frying
- In a medium saucepan, bring the water, sugar, salt and 2 tablespoons of oil to a boil.
- Stir in the flour until mixture forms a ball.
- Heat oil for frying in a deep-fryer or deep skillet to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Drop dough by tablespoonfuls into hot oil and fry until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar while still warm.
