- 4 ounces semisweet chocolate
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs, separated
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 1 1/2 quart souffle dish.
- Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler or in the microwave.
- Stir in the flour and sugar.
- Add the egg yolks one at a time, stirring until smooth.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour into prepared dish and bake for 25 minutes or until puffed and set. Serve immediately.
