- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 6 cups popped popcorn
- Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C).
- In a large saucepan, combine butter, corn syrup, brown sugar and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour over popcorn and mix until evenly coated.
- Spread onto greased baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
