- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs until light and fluffy. Beat in corn syrup, sugar, flour, vanilla and salt until well blended.
- Stir in melted butter and chocolate chips. Pour into pie crust.
- Arrange pecan halves on top of filling.
- Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until set. Cool before serving.
