Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  2. In a large bowl, beat eggs until light and fluffy. Beat in corn syrup, sugar, flour, vanilla and salt until well blended.
  3. Stir in melted butter and chocolate chips. Pour into pie crust.
  4. Arrange pecan halves on top of filling.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until set. Cool before serving.
