- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, peanut butter, sugars, vanilla and egg until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until blended.
- Spread evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool before cutting into bars.
