- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream, milk, sugar, and salt until the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- When the ice cream is almost done, add in the vanilla extract and chocolate chips.
- Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
