Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, melted and cooled to room temperature
2 cups light brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs, at room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided

Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
In a large bowl using an electric mixer beat together the melted butter and brown sugar until combined.
Add in the eggs one at a time and mix until combined.
Mix in the vanilla extract.
Add in the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fold in 2 cups of chocolate chips.
Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips on top of batter.
Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Cool completely before serving.
