Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, melted and cooled to room temperature
  • 2 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  3. In a large bowl using an electric mixer beat together the melted butter and brown sugar until combined.
  4. Add in the eggs one at a time and mix until combined.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  6. Add in the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  7. Fold in 2 cups of chocolate chips.
  8. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips on top of batter.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
  10. Cool completely before serving.
