Ingredients
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup cookie dough pieces

Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, sugar, and salt until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
  4. When the ice cream is almost done churning, add in the mini chocolate chips and cookie dough pieces.
  5. Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
