- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup cookie dough pieces

Steps
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, sugar, and salt until the sugar is dissolved.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
- When the ice cream is almost done churning, add in the mini chocolate chips and cookie dough pieces.
- Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
