Chocolate Caramel…
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

Steps
  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, cream, corn syrup, and salt. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped chocolate until melted and smooth.
  4. Let cool slightly before serving.
