Chocolate Caramel…
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Steps
  1. Grease an 8x8 inch pan.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, sugar, evaporated milk and corn syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the marshmallow creme and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts until melted.
  5. Pour into prepared pan.
  6. Cool before cutting into squares.
